Hey There

My name is Ally and welcome to Beauty by Ally D!

I am a professional makeup artist who has over 11 years of experience. After attending makeup school in Los Angeles, I landed my first real makeup job working for M.A.C Cosmetics where I gained a plethora of makeup knowledge and skills. I have worked many beauty events including weddings, fashion week, photoshoots, commercials, print, editorials and party events. After working with M.A.C for 6 years as a manager, I decided to leave to pursue my dreams of starting my own freelance makeup business. Specifically, a bridal makeup business.

Working with brides has been the most rewarding and fulfilling job I've ever had and I didn't want it to stop. The connections I've made with clients on their special day is what keeps me going. I now have hundreds of weddings under my belt as well as networked with many wedding vendors (which means I have TONS of vendor recommendations, don't be afraid to ask). I'm so grateful to have a team of artists & stylists who work alongside me to assist with bridal parties and events. 

 

 I am extremely passionate about what I do and that is showcased through my work. As soon as you meet me, you'll understand how much I love my job and MAKEUP---I can't get enough of it! (I also love talking about products so please ask me anything and everything!) I LOVE meeting new clients and being able to glam them for special events is what truly fills my cup. I'm so blessed to live out my passion as a career.
